I really liked the art for this! The names and art for all the characters made them feel really well rounded for the limited time we had with them. The cutscene art was really good as well. Most of the tilesets felt well thought out and cohesive. A few of the side doors looked a little off but the mood of everything was on point.

Always love when an RM game is a little meta, haha. That first time it looped I gasped. Like, out loud I was like "ahh dont force me to burn bleach that won't go well, wtf ill just die..." to be so surprised at the first loop! I had no idea it was going there with the story haha.
I also struggled with some of the puzzles but really enjoyed the mystery and writing of it all. I always felt clever when I figured out what to do next, which was fun.
read the desk instructions but when i interact with the desk i can only infinitely take the instructions. does not seem to be any way to progress here unless i'm missing something.
can't even actually start a new game with the new game button, so this seems like a pretty gnarly bug.
overall, pretty good story. there were grammar errors and it’s a bit edgy, but who cares? i found some of the puzzles unintuitive though, unfortunately.

i think the library puzzle is broken somehow? i’ve been struggling with it for more than 30 minutes. can’t figure out what determines the number per book (i know its probably order on shelf, but that’s been failing me), and i’m honestly not sure which color is supposed to be which (there are three blues and i can’t figure out which one is supposed to be grey!)
i ended up brute forcing it open.
